Megan Miller

Group Training
Megan is a coach for the group training program in Prospect Park. She casually started running eight years ago with only maintaining a healthy lifestyle in mind. Fast forward years later and not only did Megan become a coach, she became a marathoner! Megan trained herself, by herself, to run her first marathon in New York City in 2015.

Along her marathon journey, she began racing, happily collected race bibs, and fell more in love with the sport. When she is not coaching, Megan makes sure she keeps a consistent running schedule, averaging between 15 and 20 miles a week. Her favorite thing about coaching is meeting and encouraging runners.

What is your favorite place to run?
I love running in Central Park because of the challenge and to see the beauty in the nature.

What is your favorite NYRR race?
For me, there is no race more exciting than the New York City Marathon, although the Brooklyn Half is a close second!

What is your personal running motto?
Breathe, relax, and enjoy it, one step at a time!
